TURKEY's UNEMPLOYMENT RATE RISES...
Unemployment rate in Turkey rose to 9.6 percent in June period, including May, June and July, up from 9.1 percent in the same period of last year, according to the data released by Turkstat on Tuesday.
Unemployment rate realized as 9.6 percent with 0.5 percentage point increase.
In the same period, non-agricultural unemployment rate rose to 11.7 percent with 0.6 percentage point increase.
Youth unemployment rate including 15-24 age group rose to 17.7 percent with 1.0 percentage point increase, unemployment rate for 15-64 age group rose to 9.7 percent with 0.4 percentage point increase.
Number of employed persons aged 15 years old and over realized as 27 million 261 thousand persons with 675 thousand persons increase in the period of June 2015 compared to the same period of the previous year.
Employment rate stood at 47.1 percent with 0.4 percentage point increase.Of those who were employed in this period; 22 percent was employed in agriculture, 19.7 percent was employed in industry, 7.3 percent was employed in construction and 51 percent was employed in services.
Employment in services increased by 0.8 percentage point while that of agriculture decreased by 0.3 percentage point, industry decreased by 0.4 percentage point and construction decreased by 0.1 percentage point compared to the same period of the previous year.
The ratio of persons who worked without any social security related to the main job realized as 34.6 percent with 1.8 percentage point decrease in the period of June 2015 compared to the same period of the previous year.
