TURKEY's UNEMPLOYMENT RATE ROSE to 9,8%...

Turkey's unemployment rate at 9.8 percent in July period

Unemployment rate in Turkey rose to 9.8 percent in July period, including June, July and August, unchanged at annual basis and rose by 0.2 percentage point on monthly basis, according to the data released by Turkstat on Thursday.

Number of unemployed persons aged 15 years and over rose by 103 thousand to 2.97 million persons in the July period, against in the same period of the previous year.

Non-agricultural unemployment rate remained at 12.0 percent, while youth unemployment rate including 15-24 age group rose to 18.3 percent with 0.1 percentage point increase and unemployment rate for 15-64 age group remained at 10.0 percent, overthe same period.
