MILK, CHEESE and YOGHURT PRODUCTION IN TURKEY

The amount of cow's milk fell by 0.4 percent in November on annual basis, while it rose by 4.0 percent on annual basis to 7.94 million tonnes, up from 7.29 million tonnes in the same period of the year before.

Drinking milk production from integrated dairies in November 2014 increased by 5.6 percent when compared to the previous month while drinking milk production from integrated dairies in November 2014 rose by 2.2 percent on annual basis.

CHEESE PRODUCTION

Cheese production from cow’s milk fell by 2.2 percent, cheese production from sheep, goat, buffalo and mixed milk increased by 3.3 percent when compared to the previous month, while cheese production from cow’s milk increased by 5.1 percent, cheese production from sheep, goat, buffalo and mixed milk decreased by 7.2 percent on annual basis.

YOGHURT PRODUCTION

Yoghurt production from integrated dairies in November rose by 0.7 percent when compared to the previous month and drink made of yoghurt production increased by 0.2 percent when compared to the previous month, while yoghurt production rose by 0.8 percent drink made of yoghurt production rose by 1.7 percent, on annual basis.
